The trail to the PCRM International Conference on Diabetes in D.C. was decorated with three good omens.

As I shared with you before, Dr. Neal Barnard had invited me months ago to come on back to Washington to present at the International Conference on Diabetes. 

 

Between you and me, I couldn't say yes fast enough!

On a sad note, if your dog has been lucky enough to chow down on V-Dog, last week the company founder, Dave Middlesworth, passed away suddenly while on a mountain hiking adventure.  

 

Dave delivers happy memories, though! He has been a tireless champion for the animals, founding Red Rover years ago. 

 

Personally, Dave has always been an extremely supportive co-worker in the plant-based fitness cause, always prominently displaying front center my books at V-Dog venues.  He got it about the food, the fitness, and the frame of mind working together - for all good causes.

 

His dear wife, my very good friend Linda, who you also may know, has announced a celebration of life event for Dave at The Animal Place sanctuary in Grass Valley, Ca. Click here for information and rsvp.
