Hi !
I am writing to you from the Seychelle Islands, located off the east coast of Africa where Greg and I are working and advocating for birds and other wildlife and finding plenty of travel adventure in between. I managed to find a wifi hot spot which gives me this window of
opportunity to send off a quick note to you.
Conservation and being a voice for the wild animals and wild places has been at the heart of my choice to become vegan. And
if we've known each other for some time, then you have probably heard me talk about my work as an environmental education teacher to middle schoolers for twenty years, too.
Now that I am out of the classroom, the opportunities and time for working in the field have greatly expanded. And luckily, Greg makes films of most of our adventures - which gives me a rich opportunity to share these journeys with you. Journeys that we embark upon not only for the adventure - but to also be a voice for
the voiceless wild animals and wild places.
Before we move forward on the next leg of our journey, , I wanted to send you a quick email to share with you Greg's just-published video of our first week here - and an overview
of things to come.

Tomorrow, we leave for Africa to - as you see in the video - visit our adopted elephants at the orphanage, explore new places in the African bush, and then on to the mountain gorillas of Rwanda.
You'll see it all in the video! I hope you have a few minutes to click over and take a look.
Here's to a kinder, more spacious world for all -
