,

Three fun things for you today!

First, as promised, here is a short yet very special video my husband Greg made of our Thanksgiving celebrations at my friend Miyoko's home and farm animal sanctuary:

I am happy to say that my Chocolate Mousse Pie was a hit, yet just one of many other special elements of this plant-based gathering.  In the video you'll see the cows, pigs, chickens and goats happily strolling the barnyard, a delicious array of food including Miyoko's famous Unturkey, and a whole lot of happy people

Second, VeggieChick just posted a special feature on her website:

Third, VegWorld Magazine asked me to pull together a recipe for Curried Pumpkin Lentil Soup to meet the holiday healthy comfort food need.  You'll find it posted here:

I'll post more pics below with links, just for fun.

How's your week after Thanksgiving?  I kicked mine off by cleaning the refrigerator - we're down to the last sorry shreds of green onions and when Greg asked me why I was cleaning it on a Sunday, I had to remind him - it's empty - THAT is the time to clean!  I made the day more festive by baking some Pumpkin Rolls and sneaking in a lovely bike ride between rain showers.

December approaches - let's go there together.

Love and peace,

Lani

P.S. More coming soon - Steve Prussack, Juice Guru has asked me to join him on a livecast conversation about the Plant-Based Journey AND how to sneak in effective exercise Fit Quickies style through the holidays - and you've been invited, no charge!  As soon as I have the details, I'll send them along to you.  This will probably take place within the next couple of weeks.
