Hi ,
The December-to-January holidays sweep – along with busy schedules, multiple social commitments, and richer fare than usual – also always brings a sense of promise, doesn't
it?
As we take stock of the past year and look forward to the next, the possibilities can seem endless for becoming the best, healthiest, happiest, and most authentic person we
can be.
And there never seems to be a shortage of new plant-based healthy living books or plant-based cookbooks to fan the flames of our motivation. This is good because
we can never get too much support for our worthwhile endeavors.
Yet if you aren’t already engaging in one, have you considered a mindfulness meditation practice as being that
which will make a big difference for you in the new year? I call it the gift behind door #3, taking it's rightful place in the circular lineup with the other two doors: food and fitness.
In today's article we'll talk about minding the mental gap (in case you are asking, like Laura, the question, "why am I still overeating?"), link you to the 20 minute recording of my guest appearance on Dana Wilde's The Mind Aware program, and more.
There are also two new articles that have been published at Azumio - you'll see the links and all below.
It's all more juice for your journey...
I'd love to hear from you and how the holidays are going - post on the blog or drop me a note any
time.
Love,
Lani
P.S. Reminder: Tuesday December 29 at 5:00 PST is our next call for the Healthy Happy and Fit Club! We'll be talking about taking time to assess where we are on our journey and where we want to go -- with the fresh perspective that the new year brings. A warm welcome to all the new members of HHF!
