Hi !

Right on the heels of the segment on CBS TV, the first official book signing for The Plant-Based Journey popped up on my calendar..

Just before loading up to leave for the book signing, Fed Ex delivered this to our porch. Not me silly! The beautifully framed fabric cover of The Plant-Based Journey!  What a perfect sendoff!

Are You Ready For Us, Bookstore?

From there, it was a two hour drive to the location for book signing number one.

Good thing I’m a veteran teacher, skilled in the dance that more often than not ensues when all best-laid-plans don’t quite come to be as planned....

Overwhelmed by Overchoice? My Article At Nutrition Studies.org

Whether you are a veg-food veteran or just taking your first steps on the plant-based journey, there are more resources and research support than ever before for making the switch to plant-based.

This is a good thing.

Yet it can also present some challenges to transition due to the ‘too many choices’ phenomenon. With increasing popularity of vegetarian, vegan, and whole food, plant-based eating, the variety of opinions about the ‘best version’ can lead to confusion, frustration, and even abandonment of your quest to eat better.

San Francisco World VegFest - See You There?

I'll be presenting next weekend at the San Francisco World Veg Festival. I"ll be there all day Saturday October 3, presenting in the Garden Room at 4:00 all about the plant-based journey with "The 5 Steps of Transition to Plant-Based Living".   If you can make it, please be sure to introduce yourself so I can meet you!

The Blog Tour Continues.

Every weekday this month a different blogger is featuring a review, recipe from and/or giveaway of The Plant-Based Journey.  These reviews have been extraordinary, each blogger with a unique focus - though everyone loves the Recipe Templates, that's for sure!

This comment just went up in the review at The Planted Palate, and I just have to share it with you:

"If you are interested what-so-ever (which I hope) in this lifestyle, than Lani’s book is an absolute must read...I will even go as far and call it the bible of plant-based eating...""

Hope to see you soon - in many places!  Perhaps at the next book signing party coming up on Sunday, October 11?  It is planned for Barnes and Noble in Chico, California - and we're bringing FOOD just as we did for party #1!  If you'd like to help out, send me an email pronto at lani@lanimuelrath.com

Avanti!

Cheers!  Greg and I bought these wine glasses at a glass factory in the country in Africa - and broke them in with a book release toast on our deck.  They are so pretty I had to take a picture and share with you.
