a personal note from Lani                                          April 29, 2010

Hi !

We're busy packing to travel north of the border and bid farewell to Mexico for now.  Viva sun and blue skies! (And hot springs...it was hard to tear me out of the caves!  See photo left)

Excitement is mounting for the Gams, Glutes, Abs and Arms for Summer w*eight loss and body shaping session  that launches this Saturday, May 1.  The Countdown Blog has been abuzz - come by HERE and take a look!

Speaking of w*eight:  Does thin = rich?

Does a lower BMI - or body mass index = more money in your purse?

Is there  a connection between the size of your dress and the size of your bank account?

We like to think that appearance and weight have nothing to do with financial success. And indeed, sometimes there seems to be no correlation at all.   We've all seen over-the-top obesity partnered with personal wealth.

Evidently, statistically, that is the exception - according to an article that just crossed my (mobile!) desk this week.  Read today's Feature Article for the scoop.

A couple more things.  I'll be sending out a survey soon and would LOVE your response.  Just a heads up so you'll know when it arrives in your email.

AND, a special welcome to this week's new FitDream Fusion members!

I'll be on the road a couple of days should you need to reach me.  For now, hasta luego!

Hearts, hugs and stars

P.S.   Before I go try (once again) to cram everything into my suitcase for the trip home, there's something else I'm excited to tell you about.

On May 16 I'll be presenting the first Fit Quickies Academy, to take place in Marin County, CA.  I'll be giving hands-on instruction in all of the first 8 Fit Quickies - and...

P.P.S.  Earlybird signups get a special bonus gift!   Click HERE for all the juicy details and to sign up today.

P.P.P.S. Congrats to FitDream Fusion Member Grayce B. who tightened an inch off of her triceps using Fit Quickie #3!  In her words:

"I just want to let everybody who may be sitting on the fence about Lani's Fit Quickies that it's TIME TO FALL OFF!! One may not seem like such a significant value.

But let me tell you what! THAT IS NONSENSE! When you put ONE in a sentence with FQ#3 it is HUGE - why? because ONE is the total inches I've LOST (bye-bye one) from my flabby sail arms - I've been using the FQ's for about 3 weeks now - four times a week - and there is ONE inch GONE!

I can't say ENOUGH about these Fit Quickies!! THANKS LANI!! " ~ Grayce B.,  Toledo

P.P.P.P.S.  I also plan to teach a T-Tapp Ladybug Workshop on the 16th;  if finalized, I'll let you know in next week's news OR just drop me an email.

Does A Lower BMI Mean More $$ In Your Purse?

Does a lower BMI - or body mass index = more money in your purse?

Is there really a connection between the size of your dress and the size of your bank account?

We like to think that appearance and weight have nothing to do with financial success.

And indeed, sometimes there seems to be no correlation at all.   We've all seen over-the-top obesity partnered with personal wealth.

Evidently, statistically, that is the exception - according to Openshaw's research - rather than the rule.

This just came across my desk straight from Jennifer Openshaw at MarketWatch.

Openshaw uses four specific areas to illustrate the relationship between being overweight and your finances:

   1. Food
   2. Illness
   3. Life Insurance, and, lumped together:
   4. Earnings, Net Worth, and Marriage

Category #4 sounds juicy for starters;  let's see what Openshaw has to say:
